Today we left Fisherman's around 1030, loaded our bait, and cleared the point at 1300. Fishing reports sound promising for us and the weather is absolutely perfect. We will be on the albacore grounds around 0400. Wish us luck....

Albacore up to 38 pounds

Hello Anglers,

We finished our trip offshore with some action on some albacore up to 38 pounds. We found an area of birds and bait that had breezers of yellowtail and albacore in it. We would slide up on the breezers and pick up 7 to 13 albacore off each spot. There were some big albacore mixed in to keep it interesting. We took off for home at 1400 in beautiful weather. Cedros Island

We started our day at Cedros Island for very good current and temperature but no yellowtail. When we looked at a few spots for not much sign we left and ran over to Benitos to find a drastic change in temperature and very good current direction.
