Hello Anglers,

Today we were pleasantly surprised offshore when we found a nice school of 30 to 65 pound yellowfin . We were only able to get one spot to bite but we picked up 25 fish for our efforts. The other spots we found were uncooperative . Regardless, the opportunity we had, we took advantage of. There were also some nice yellowtail on a few kelps to keep the blood flowing during the slow periods. We are going to be offshore again tomorrow looking for albacore somewhere. The pictures that I am sending are of some yellowfin in the clean blue water. Wish us luck tomorrow. Shawn and the crew

Our average fish today was around 18 to 20 pounds with some standout 25 to 28 pounders. If it was in your tackle box, they were biting it. This trip we have some very good young angler's onboard.
