Hello Anglers,

Today was by far the toughest day we have had this year. The weather was favorable but our albacore was not. For the day we picked up one albacore and one 20 pound yellowtail for the day. We fished a few kelps and had good action on small yellowfin but we released them all. Tomorrow we are getting to the dock in the morning and we will be leaving on a 'Lets Talk Hook-Up' 5 day trip. We will check in tomorrow. Shawn and the crew

Yo yo jigs

Hello Anglers,

Today we fished at our yellowtail hole and picked fish all through out the day. Most of which was caught on yo yo jigs and sardines and the fish were in the 15 to 22 pound range. Today was pretty tough for us with choppy weather and slow fishing. Our morning was the only time that we caught any albacore and after that we only picked up a few dorado. We saw a few schools of albacore but once again, they did not bite.
