"We spent the day offshore looking for bluefin tuna. The weather is great with light winds and almost no swell. There is a sign of bluefin in this area, which is 250 miles from San Diego. We saw at least four spots of fish today and we landed 28 fish from 15 to 40 pounds. One stop was pretty good fishing, with lots of fish around the boat and several people having a whack at a nice bluefin.
"There were other boats in the area that also saw spots of fish, some that bit a little and some that didn't. Now that the weather is good and the forecast looks good for awhile, hopefully these fish will continue to show and bite a little better. We are headed up the line about 60 miles tonight to look at an area of good water and a few fish were seen jumping recently and hopefully find some action closer to home."
