The winds that were howling along the coastline yesterday were gone this morning so off we went once again in search of the elusive salmon. Last I heard they shook one silver, had another fish pop a weight, and are in the smack dab in the middle of a football field of bait. And breaking news: there still are salmon in the ocean, 'cause we just caught one. Or does that mean there's one less salmon in the ocean? Toot the horns, raise the flags. Where there's one, there's gotta be more, right? Please, oh please, oh please...

6-5-2007One tail tale sign we watch for as we arrive at the harbor in the morning are the flagpoles at the hotel just south of the harbor. This morning the flags were flapping hard.
