Hello Anglers,

Today was the kind of day that we needed. One that was full exciting things like spots of yellowfin crashing around the boat along with the yellowtail and the Humpback Whales which were breaching all around the boat all day. It was quit the site. To make things even better we had very good weather again and cooperation with the fish. From 0700 until 1300 we kept at least one fish hooked and atpeak times we had 4 or 6 fish going. Our yellowfin today averaged 40 to 50 pounds with a few 60, 70 and 85 pound fish to keep it interesting. Our yellowtail were in the 16 to 25 pound class with the big ones in the 30 to 40 pound class but we only had a handful of those. After about 1300 the current backed off to nothing and the fishing did pretty much the same with only a few more tuna and yellowtail to put in the RSW. Late in the afternoon we anchored up next to the reef and fished light tackle and plastics and found good Cabrilla fishing and other misc. fish to pull on.We are hoping for a similar day tomorrow so we will check in then. Shawn and the crew

The afternoon was a little slower than the morning because we had zero current from noon until around 1800. We put together a nice day of fishing and we hoping the...... Read More
