Hello Anglers,

Today was a awesome day of albacore fishing in flat calm seas. We had some very good biting schools with a good show out of each one. Albacore in the morning were a little smaller than we have been getting with a few 12 pound fish in the mix but the average is 22 to 25 pounds and they seemed to average a little bigger in the afternoon. Tomorrow we are going try our luck at the island so we will check in then. Wish us lots of luck. Shawn and the crew

47.4 pound yellowtail

We arrived at Fisherman's Landing at 0800 and weighed up jackpot. The winners are as follows. 1st. place: Jeff Bruner with a 47.4 pound yellowtail 2nd. place: Tom Golding with a 46.4 pound yellowtail 3rd. place: Bill Bergerson with a 45.9 pound yellowtail Honorable mention goes to Jesse Konrad with a 97.1 pound yellowfin tuna he picked up at Guadalupe Island on a flylined Mackerel.
