Hello Anglers,
We really started our Haj Shimada 5-day trip out with a bang. After hitting a couple of kelp paddies for nothing, we found the granddaddy of all kelps and had an explosive bite on yellowtail, dorado, and school sized tuna. When the dust settled, we had 30 dorado, 20 tuna, and we were all fixed up on yellowtail for the trip. The yellows ranged from 12-25 pounds and they were aggressive, biting everything from sardines, yo yo's, surface irons, and even fish traps full speed. We left them biting and are now headed out to Guadalupe Island to try and catch a trophy tuna. Weather is beautiful. JUSTIN
