The past few days we have had extraordinary fishing. This past weekend, the Ranger 85 scored on their 2 Day Trip fishing San Miguel, Santa Rosa and Santa Cruz Islands. With limits of quality rockfish nailed down, the anglers set out after big game…and big they found. Scouring the region far and wide, Mary Tarver of Las Vegas nailed a 51lb halibut. All in all, 9 halibut were landed and 1 34lb seabass. The Coral Sea found 12 halibut on Saturday and fished locally on Sunday. With calm seas and live squid, the guys managed a couple halibut and good rockfishing as well. We have extended our Channel Islands season on the Coral Sea with an expanded schedule of Limited Load Outer Island trips being offered through July. In addition, we have several open charter dates available as well. We look forward to fishing with you all this season. Capt. Frank
