Hello Anglers,
Today we took our chances and headed south offshore in search for dorado, tuna, and wahoo on kelps. We traveled through a lot of warm clean blue water without a whole lot of sign for most of the day. Later in the afternoon however, we got into an area of water that had plenty of kelps and life on nearly every paddy. We were able to find a nice kelp that had nearly the entire boat bit on nice dorado with smaller grade tuna mixed in. Although the tuna were mostly on the smaller side, the dorado we were hooking were all nice keepers. Tonight we have to start traveling back up the line and will be fishing an island for more yellowtail. We will check in tomorrow.... Justin
