The Salmon bite was slow in the Soquel Hole with only a few fish reported at 36'51/121'56 and 36'51'/121'53. There is a big temperature brak out near Davenport that some of the boats are going to look at in the morning. We have to spread out and find some warmer brown water. The Rockcod was good near South Rock and Natural Bridges. There were some Striped Bass caught of Capitola Wharf and some Thresher Sharks near the New Brighton area in 80 feet of water. There were not many Halibut reports today but the lack of anglers looking is not helping the reports.

The wind was not as bad today so a few anglers gave it a try in the morning. The few anglers did catch some Salmon trolling near 36'51/121'56 and 36'51/121'53. The wind came up early today making the Salmon fishing very hard to do. There were a few boats who trolled around for a little while and ended up with a few Silver Salmon. The wind is expected to slow down on Thursday. The inshore action was good for the anglers who fished the Lighthouse area for Rockcod.
