Well ladies and gents the fishing season is really coming together for us. Channel Islands Fishing Center has the hot fish count of the day. Most of our boats today scored nice white seabass with some home-guard yellowtails mixed in. And don't forget the Calicos, Steve Kelly on the Island Tak decked 15 of the calico beauties today followed up by 3 white seabass and 2 yellowtail. Shawn aboard the Aloha Spirit had his share of white seabass biscuits this week ranging from 10-50+ pounds, truly fun fishing. The Pacific Islander is on a special Dawn till Duck trip, they sent is early reports of 5 white seabass as well as 5 halibut, 12 lingcod, 12 whitefish and limits of outer island quality rockfish. . The barracuda have been around as well, and we are not talking about small ones. These slime sticks pull drag with the best of them. We have overnight boats leaving every night out of Channel Islands Sportfishing Center here in Oxnard targeting all the favorite shallow water favorites. We have boats leaving daily starting at 4am fishing open party trips. So if its huge reds, scrappy yellowtail or tasty white seabass, call out staff today to book you're trip on one of our seasoned sport fishing boats.
