Hello Anglers, We managed to scratch out another very nice day on the tuna yesterday. Some bigger fish showed up and we had our chances but came up short most of the time. The weather has come down significantly and the hurricane is gone so we are sliding down south to the warmer waters. Today was spent relaxing and hanging out. Something really cool that our chef Jason does on Sundays during football season is he celebrates NFL game day with a tailgate party on the upper deck. Complete with dogs, brats, chips, and beer. He also sets up the satellite radio and flips through all of the games. He is always equipped with his Chargers jersey and encourages others to bring their favorite team wear as well. So if you are on an upcoming trip on the Excel, support your team on Sunday. JUSTIN

We are keeping a close eye on this hurricane below and staying a safe distance away. Once it is...... Read More

Hello Anglers, Today was meant to be a travel day with seminars and rigging. Around 0900, we got into an area of clean, warm water and were welcomed by a nice school of fatso albacores. We boated a dozen and lost a handful before they left us. We didn't go far before finding a kelp where we scratched at dorado and tuna up to 30 pounds. Just a couple more jig strikes for the afternoon was it for us but it...... Read More
