Weir Lake also produced some good fishing action this week
6-5-2011

I hate to be repetitive but I suppose when its a good report, it's ok right? The Weir pond is still fishing excellent for both spin and fly anglers. Jigs, midges, nymphs, wooly buggers, kastmasters and Thomas Bouyants are all working great. Biggest fish out of the Weir this week was 3lbs 6oz by Mike Lear from Rancho Cucamonga, CA caught on a black wooly bugger.
Our photo shows Mike Lear and Michael Lear from Rancho Cucamonga, CA with a pair of nice Alpers. Mike (left) caught his 3 lb 6oz rainbow at Weir Pond on a Black Wooly Bugger. Michael (right) caught his rainbow that weighed in at just under 2 lbs on the So. Fork Bishop Creek 6-3-11. Another good father & son outing.
