Hello Anglers, What a great way to end our trip! We ended up with 18 big tuna for our day, five over 200 pounds, and another two over the 300 pound mark. Big fish honors for the day goes to the team of Ryan Van Cleave and Neil Peters who combined efforts to land a giant 356 pounder. The fish was caught on a Calstar 6455xxh, a Penn 50w with 130 Berkley Trilene, a two foot 130 pound fluorocarbon leader from Berkley, and a black 9/0 eagle claw 2004 series hook. The other super cow goes to Rick Iwatsubo, who after a two hour battle, landed an impressive 302 pound tuna. Other big fish were caught by Lee Erlendson with a 262, Carl Dorton with a 228, Al Scow "the fisherman's pal" with a 236, and Jim McCafferey from Medford NJ had a career day with a 219 in the morning and a 263 in the afternoon. We are now headed up the line toward San Diego. Our ETA to Fisherman's Landing is around 0700 on Friday morning. JUSTIN
