Hello Anglers,
We have had a couple of excellent days of fishing here on the "Big X". Yesterday we made a quick stop on the yellowtail ground and had very good fishing on 15-18 pound mossbacks. From 0800 to noon it was as good as it gets. Just about lunch time, we pulled the anchor and started heading south to put ourselves in position to be at the Rocks for a couple of days. Today, anglers woke up to beautiful weather and calm seas here at Alijos. The tuna started biting just after breakfast and we stayed busy into the afternoon. It's a very nice grade of fish here with most of them weighing in at 60-110 pounds. Most of the fish were caught on fly lined sardines but there were also a few flurries on the kite. Tomorrow we will fish here until 1500 or so before we start heading up the line to fish albacore on the way home. Wish us luck... JUSTIN
