Calico Bass fishing is starting to pick up here at Dana Wharf. Come down and give it a shot. Your best bet at getting some good fish in the sack this week is to pick out an anchovie and fly line with a 1/4 oz. slider or splitshot to get your bait away from the birds. Also the bass have been hitting the plastics. A good choice would be a 1/4 to 1/2 oz. leadhead with a smaller grub or zoom fluke. with mostly Sardine in the tanks a smaller bait is key to get these fish to bite. Hope to see you down here.
