SFR CORAL SEA OVERNIGHT CHARTER

5-24-2011
Don Padick

Sportfishingreport.com and Captain Frank Ursitti recently teamed up for an overnight charter to the outer Channel Islands aboard Captain Frank's Coral Sea. We left Channel Islands Sportfishing Center in Oxnard on friday night with an eager group of anglers and set a course for the outer islands. We fished the morning light in hopes of a halibut or seabass but conditions just weren't right so Captain Frank took us out to deeper waters in search of some of those legendary Channel Island rockfish. We spent the rest of the day hooking and battling monster lings and hauling giant reds over the rail. When it was time to head for the docks we had limits of lingcod to 20lbs and limits of rockfish for all the anglers and crew aboard. Awesome day of fishing !!!!!! Captain Frank and his fine crew were top notch as always and everyone aboard left with huge smiles and fat sacks of fillets. The Coral Sea and Ranger 85 and available for charter and are also running open party trips. Check their websites at Coralseasportfishing.com and Ranger85.com or contact Channel Islands Sportfishing Center for their entire schedule.
