Trout limits are the norm at Lake Del Valle

Marina Hours: 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM
Park Hours: 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM
Planting Activity: On April 26 we planted 1,200 lbs. of trout from Fish & Game on April 27 we received 500 lbs. of trout from Mt. Lassen.

Trout fishermen have been pulling in limits. Bass, Catfish, and Striper activity has picked up. Fishermen have been using White PowerBait and Silver Kastmasters, which seem to be the favorite at the moment. PowerBait eggs in white and spring green along with Berkley Gulp Floating Worms in florescent Green along with Berkley PowerBait in chartreuse, corn yellow, orange twist and lemon twist. We have had some good size Catfish being caught on chicken liver, and Anchovies. Striper fishing has been doing well also in Swallow Bay, with our fishermen using light and bright PowerBait, and Anchovies. We have had a few Small Mouth Bass come in that were caught on Nightcrawlers.

The Marina hours are 6 am to 7 pm with the park hours 6 am to 8 pm. Our last Trout plant was 1000lbs. from Mt. Lassen on April 19. Trout fishermen are pulling in their limits with some very nice size catches! The water temperature is at 60 degrees. Marina hours are 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM with the park hours 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A 1,000 lb. trout plant was Tuesday April 12 from Mt. Lassen. We also received 2,600 lb. trout plant from Fish and Game on Wednesday April 13. The water temperature is at 54 degrees.
