The Salmon bite was slow in the morning but the afternoon did produce some fish. The best bet was to wait for the moon to clear and the tide to push in. The fish went on the bite around 11:00 and slowed down around 1:00. The Salmon were caught near the East side of the Soquel Hole trolling 100-150 feet down. There were some boats who had 3-6 Salmon and some that ended the day with limits. The water was flat calm all morning until the wind came up some around 3:00. There are still anglers fishing at 4:20 tonight. The Rockod fishing was great for the anglers who fished at Ano Nuevo today in 30-45 feet of water inside the Red Buoy. There were a few Halibut reported from anglers trolling near the Cement Ship in 40-60 feet of water. The anglers were using the B2 Bounce Ball rig. There are some Striped Bass being caught by surf fisherman at Manresa state beach. There was a Halibut caught casting off the beach there too. Come fishing soon!
