Trout action was good on both lakes even with the full moon, warmer temperatures with little or no wind. Power Bait (especially salmon peach, spring green, chartreuse and rainbow), night crawlers, jigs and lures go trout on the line.

Hot spots included the western and eastern shores of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lake 2. Bass are in pre-spawn and the bite is back on track. Bass were caught on the northern and western shores of lake 3 and the northern and western shores of lake 2 with anglers using senkos and night crawlers to catch bass up to 3 pounds.

Catfish were biting shrimp, mackerel, Power Bait and night crawlers to catch fish up to 4 Lbs. Hot spots for catfish included the eastern shore of lake 2 and the western and eastern shore of lake 3.

The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall.
