32nd Annual Day at the Docks

The Port of San Diego's Day at the Docks ? is a free waterfront festival with appeal for the whole family. Celebrating the official start of San Diego's spring saltwater sportfishing season, the fleet of 70 sportfishing boats in Point Loma will provide the colorful backdrop to the day's events on The Big Bay. From 9 AM to 5 PM, Day at the Docks ? will feature open house aboard fleet vessels, boat rides around the bay, casting contests, prizes, displays of fishing tackle, boats, apparel and art. There are fishing seminars, cooking demonstrations, marine retailers, a stocked fishing area for children, a hands on marine art contest for kids, music, food and live entertainment.
Admission to the festival is absolutely free! There is free parking on Shelter Island with free, frequent shuttles to and from the festival. Complete information including seminar speaker schedules, entertainment and exhibitor listings are available on the website: www.sportfishing.org.
