TRAVEL THOUGHTS (032811)!!! Hello folks, we are currently making way toward San Diego. The weather is still a bit choppy, but all passengers and crew are still in very high spirits from yesterday.Very rarely do I write the nightly report, as i usually just make sure that some of the key highlights are included. However, in this case I had to do this one to include a big thanks! and much gratitude to the Royal Polaris crew.Historically, the R.P. crew has always been top notch and there have been a long line of great Crew members in the fleet, who have gone on to run their very own very successful operations after understudying years of moves under captains Frank Lopreste and Steve Loomis. These days are no exception as the R.P. crew is totally responsible for this catch. From the rigging of top shots on the way down to the great assistance around the rope, rudders, and propellers, to hooking baits, the crew was on it. From the cooks helping to fly the kites when we were to busy on deck. We really showcased just how much of a team we are, and i cant say enough, how proud i am of these guys. Not only as the Captain of such a trip, but as a friend and co-worker. I would also like to add a big thank you to those in our industry who make the other side happen. To our manufacturers of tackle and all related to the industry: Line One Industries, Blackwater, Penn , Accurate Mfg., Shimano, Calstar, Seeker, Aftco, Avet, Mustad, Owner hooks, High Seas mono crimps, and and to anyone who I didnt list, but you think your name should be in there, please include yourself and Thank You! For all the r&d to bring us such fine tackle to be able to achieve this great accomplishment. As for our last day, we don't even know how many more over 200 we threw down, as we were to busy to weigh them. We estimate another 5-7 over 200 and our 2 over three. That puts us at 25 to 27 over 200, and 9 over 300! We will be in a day early so if your not busy, please come see us at Fishermans Landing Friday morning at 8a.m. Captain Billy Santiago Jr.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.
