"Another nice day of fishing for us down here," reported Intrepid March 23. "We were able to keep a fish or two going for most of the day and with the Wahoo coming through from time to time it was a good day. The tuna were all nice grade fish with a couple of standouts that included fish over the 200-pound mark and one fish that came in at 305 pounds. Big fish honors go to Paul Jessup for his Supercow. This fish has a big story to go along with it, as it was one of the meanest, toughest, and hardest fighting fish we have encountered. After 2.5 hours of hard fighting the fish decided to throw us a curve ball and shoot under the boat and try and get away using the props and rudders, but Mike Pritchard didn't hesitate to jump in and work it out through the stern, adding a sinker onto the line and eventually bringing the fish to the boat. What a battle!"
