SFR Blog: Saturday Fred Hall morning update
3-12-2011
Rich Holland
Big deal, big news at the big showThe PFMC website announced this morning there will be a salmon opener south of Point Arena April 2, the long range skippers just disappeared from their booths to discuss the Guadalupe Island situation and a bunch of great deals are on tap as the Fred Hall Show rolls into its big Saturday. SFR is putting up new charters every minute and we're giving away a t-shirt to anyone who signs up at the show and a sweatshirt and a beanie to anyone who signs up for two trips.
We've also heard about some great deals from the booths next to us in the 700/800 row (we're in 712). The Mirage has been running daily raffles for an overnight trip for anyone who provides their e-mail address and will put all the names back in the hat Sunday for a two-day trip.
The Independence is offering $200 off selected trips at the show if booked with a 50% deposit. If you miss them at the show, the offer is good through March 31.
Tommy Gomes at Uni-Goop is kicking out 3 bottles of Uni-Butter bass attractant for $20 (normally $10 for a single bottle). The show is open until 10 p.m. tonight. C'mon down to Long Beach.
