Well this is it, today was my last trip on the Eel River for 2011. We have rain in the forecast and I am going home to the Smith River. Fishing has been pretty darn good here the past couple of weeks. We hooked a heck of a lot more then we landed, but everybody had a great time. The fish were hot and fought like heck.
