Arturos Sport Fishing, report
We had good weather this week without wind from
north.
Sunrise: 7:10 AM
Sunset: 6:07 PM
Barometer: 30.08" Hg
Feels like: 54 ?
Humidity: 82%
Wind: CLM 0 mph
We are seeing Yellowtail from 20 to 35 pounds; the
best place to fish is near Coronado Island, by the Las Lagrimas light house.
You can catch from 3 to 6 pieces of them and they bite best if you use live bait.
You can buy bait at the Loreto harbor, price 10 for 15, 15
for 20, 20 for 25, etc or you have the option to catch your own.
Another good place to fish for Yellowtail is at Puerto La Lancha on the north side of Carmen Island; you can catch good number of them, there are very big schools of Yellowtail boiling the water on the surface (see photo).
For Snapper and Cabrilla, the best fishing spot is around the Island,
like Carmen or Coronado with live bait or lures.
The best true fishing report from Loreto Baja Sur, Mexico.
