Lake Poway Fishing Report

1-9-2011
Steve November

The smaller crowds this week left the lake wide open for anglers but the trout were hard to come by but when they did their sizes were worth the wait. The trout moved into deeper water with nightcrawlers and powerbait working the best off a slow troll. The catfish were biting at the log-boom and bass near Boulder Bay. Please remember, Bass has a 12" minimum for keepers. Please do not keep female bass, catch and release. Water temperature is at 56 degrees and the level of the Lake is slowly dropping.
