GIANTS CONTINUE TO SHOW (111510)!!! Hi everyone;
It was a tough slow scratch today on the Yellowfin Tuna. By 10:00 hours we had caught 7 fish, for of which were over 200 pounds, with the largest being caught by Fred Falls at 267 pounds. The next largest was a 235 pound Yellowfin, caught by Chico Leonard.
In the afternoon we found a kelp with beautiful Dorado on it and we caught some for the galley. We did not put any in the fish hold, because we wont be starting an R.S.W. hold for a couple of days. Frozen Dorado in brine are not usually the best table fare.
Late afternoon we were back on the anchor and caught 4 Yellowfin Tuna from 100 to 150 pound. Heart breaker today was a very large Cow (Yellowfin Tuna) (est. wt. 275) that unbuttoned 5 feet from the gaff. We will be giving it another go tomorrow so wish us luck and hopefully we will have a good report.
With any luck all of our reports and photos will be up tomorrow. There was a glitch with a new computer that we have been told is now solved. The R/p crew.
