Trout action is very good on both lakes this week with anglers using Power Bait ( especially salmon peach, garlic and chartreuse), night crawler (with marshmallows or Power Bait), jigs ( green and white crappie), and lures to catch limits and big fish. Hot spots included the eastern and western shores of lake 3 as well as the northern and eastern shores of lakes 2. Bass have slowed but still are being caught from both lakes on senkos, spinner bait and night crawlers with anglers reporting fish up to 4 pounds. Hot spots for bass include the northern shore of lake 3 near the pump house and the southeastern shore of lake 2 near the wall. Catfish are hitting shrimp, Power Bait and night crawlers on both lakes with most in the 3 pound range. Hot spots include the southeastern shore of lake 2 and the western shore of lake 3.

Hesperia angler, Larry Pete reeled in a 4 Lbs 1 ozs trout on a blue Thomas Bouyant from the western shore of lake 3. Wes Wright of Fullerton scored a 7 Lbs 14 Ozs rainbow using garlic Power Bait and night crawler combo from the grassy point of lake 3. Ralph Padilla of Oro Grande, caught a 5 Lbs 8 Ozs trout on an inflated night crawler while fishing the north shore of lake 2. Colton angler, Oscar Zabala, used a green crappie jig to catch his 5 lbs trout from the eastern logged shore of lake 3. Benny Gurneal of Victorville caught a 5 lbs 5 ozs rainbow form the eastern shore of lake 2 and used a night crawler/Power Bait Combo. Six year old, Ryan Orabona, reeled in a 3 lbs 8 ozs trout using chartreuse Power Bait while fishing the eastern shore of lake 3 with his dad.
