Hi everyone. I just received a call from Dustin on the Sat Phone. The guys are 100 miles South of San Diego on our final 1.5 day Charter. Charter master Jim Beck of Natures Best is onboard and the guys are doing GREAT. Currently they have landed over 90 yellowtail and several Blue and Yellowfin Tuna to 30 lbs. Jim Charters the Ranger 85 for 1.5 days so that means the boys will be on the prowl till sundown today, giving them the opportunity to add to their already impressive catch. The "BIG R" is by no means finished for the season...we will be heading NORTH to Channel Islands Sportfishing tomorrow following our return to port in San Diego. We will be fishing our fall season with both 1 and 2 day trips around the Northern Channel Islands. Fall is the best time to frequent such legendary destinations as San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Barbara and San Nicolas Islands. November and December can make for awesome conditions offshore in these northern waters, especially when Santa Ana conditions persist. Check our schedule online @ RANGER85.com.
