Bayside Marine
The fishing for Salmon was good for a few boats who went out to the Soquel Hole. There was a report of 5 fish on one boat and the fish were all 20-35 pounds. The fish were caught on the Eastside of the Soquel Hole trolling 100 feet down. The fish wanted the Krippled Anchovies behind a Chrome Dodger. The Halibut are still being caught in front of the Harbor and near the Lighthouse in 40-60 feet. The Lingcod and Rockcod fishing was great at Ano Nuevo with limits reported by the one boat who was up there. There was a little wind on the way up to the Ano area but the weather settled through the day. The weather should be fine for the weekend so come on over. There have been some nice Striped Bass being caught near Pajaro and Aptos. Anglers are doing best with Kastmasters, Spro Hair Razors, Poppers, and Fish Traps.
