Puerto Morelos continues to pump out a mixed-bag catch that reflected
an average of 5.5 fish per boat fishing trip this past week with most
of the fish taken on the troll with rigged trolling ballyhoo baits.
Overall combined catches for 11 days fished reflected 2 dorado, 13
Atlanticc barracuda, 26 bonito, 9 Spanish mackerel, 1 king mackerel
and 4 amberjack for their efforts.
PM Climate: Partly cloudy days with intermittent good periods of sunshine and temps from 74 nights to 91 daytime highs.
Sea Conditions: Overall, good conditions persisted and temps remained high in the 86 degree range throughout the area.
Best Bait/Lure: Still reflecting the best bait as the rigged and un-rigged ballyhoo, locally caught and rigged for this area.
