11:00 am update: The Pacific Queen just called in with 25+ of those nice grade mixed tuna, with a ton of fishing time left! The offshore fishing yesterday, in easy 1 day range, was very good with most boats scoring big on the Bluefin, Yellowfin and Albacore. The Islander returned this morning from a 2.5 day with 51 Albacore, 61 Bluefin and 55 Yellowfin Tuna! The Prowler overnight departing tonight at 8:00 pm is a Definite GO! 9-8-2010The very good offshore tuna fishing is continuing as boats in the fleet are catching a nice mix of very good grade albacore, yellowfin and bluefin well within 1 day range. Still good reports coming in from the offshore tuna grounds with boats catching a good mix of Yellowfin, Bluefin, and Albacore. The offshore weather has been good with a small swell and light breeze, perfect for getting on these schools of tuna!
