Captain Andy Cates took the Red Rooster III out on a 5 day westcoastangler.com 2010 trip and fished the Cedro area. They had limits of Yellowtail, 3 Yellowfin Tuna, and 3 Dorado. The first place jackpot was a 40 lbs Yellowtail caught by Kevin Smith of San Diego. The second place jackpot was a 39.5 lbs Yellowtail caught by Jerry Lahr of San Diego. The third place jackpot was a 38.6 lbs Yellowtail caught by Dan O'Leary of San Diego. And lastly the trolling jackpot was a 20.2 lbs Yellowfin Tuna caught by Robert Hernandez.

The freelance tuna trip on the Red Rooster III captained by Andy Cates went as follows: they fished for 6 days offshore and at Cedros. They caught limits of Yellowtail, 200 Albacore, and 3 Blue Fin Tuna.
