Lake Poway Fishing Report
8-1-2010
Steve November
Night fishing ends this coming Friday, August 6 and Saturday August 7. Our gates will be open at 7:00 am.
The weekend's night fishing had a good bite with lots of cats being taken out but the big one remains elusive. The top water bass bite is very good, over most of the Lake wherever shad are boiling and near the rock pile in front of the Log Boom. The bluegill/sunfish bite is starting to pick up. Water temperature is at 73 degrees and the level of the Lake has stabilized and will be held for another 21 days.
LAST FISH STOCK
July 21 - Wednesday
1,090 pounds of Catfish
NEXT FISH STOCK
August 4 - Wednesday
850 pounds of Catfish
