Silver Lake Fishing Report
7-18-2010
Andrew Jones
Fishing at Silver lake has been decent this past week despite some warm conditions and a few nice size thunder showers. On the lake, fishing from a boat, at the far South end of the lake anglers have done well using Salmon Egg red, Salmon Peach and Rainbow Powerbait as well as an occasional worm has done very well with smaller fish all week. Trollers have been using Tasmainian devils and green wooly worms or an olive Matuka and doing quite well.. rush creek has been the hot spot this week with several nice stringers as well as a few nice size browns and rainbows being pulled in. On the creek, using salmon eggs, and dry flies has been the ticket. Jim Milhon and Don Ozenbaugh caught a great looking stringer of browns and rainbows on Grant Lake using a Flat Fish Lure. Happy Fishing in the coming weeks.
