The Salmon bite was decent for the anglers who worked for Salmon in the Soquel Hole. The scores ranged from 0-2 fish a boat near the East edge of the Soquel Hole. The Salmon were caught trolling 80-120 feet down. There are some fish in the deep fingers off Ano Nuevo but the wind is blowing to hard to make it there. I think we may have a chance this weekend. The wind was up early this morning but it settled down all afternoon. The Halibut bite is the same with a few being caught by anglers working hard for them. The Halibut are scattered so the B2 Bounce Ball Rig is a good way to cover some ground and find them. The Rockcod and Lingcod are still biting well near South Rock but it was to windy in the morning to run up the coast.
