Jess Ranch Lakes Fishing Report
5-30-2010
Jess Ranch Lakes Staff
The drastic change in the weather this week and the full moon kept anglers working their tackle boxes. Anglers used Power Bait ( salmon peach, spring green, rainbow, garlic and orange), inflated night crawlers doused with attractant, some jigs and lures (Blue Thomas Buoyants, Power Worms) to catch good size, near two pound trout. Best bite was before 10am with a late afternoon kick. Most trout were near two pounds with some over three pounds. Hot spots included the eastern shore of lake 3 from the logs to the northern shore, the western shore of lake 3 from the drain to the bridge and the eastern and northern shores of lake 2.
The Lakes' Hatchery stocks trout every Friday year round. This year the Lakes' hatchery is amping up the weekly trout stockings with bigger fish overall. For more information call (760)240-1107 or go to www.jessranchlakesnews.com
