Silver Lake Resort Fish Report

Andrew Jones

If the weather ever turns from Winter to Summer, fishing should get much better. The waters are still cold and the weather has been intermitten but fishing at Silver lake has been holding its own. We have had several nice fish come in this week, with lots of smaller fish being pulled in from both shore and boats. Salmon Egg Red and Salmon Peach Glitter Power Bait, as well as worms are working from shore, with Tazmanian Devils working while trolling. Rush creek has been the hot spot though this week with lots of good action in the creek using worms and salmon eggs between Silver and Grant. Silver Lake Resort is having a spring rental boat sale, with $41 for a full day boat and $35 for a half a day rental. Come out and catch some good fish.

David Koch from Lake Forest caught 3 Fish all over 2 and a half pounds; one nice brown, from Rush Creek using worms. The Neets from Garden Valley had a nice stringer from Grant Lake Trolling a Flasher and a worm. Scott O'Conner and Glenn Delmendo from El Segundo had a great stringer from Silver Lake shore using Powerbait
