Let's Go Fishing
OK- so someone tell the weather wizard that it is almost May and time for better weather. Well, I guess living in southern California we are spoiled, but most of all we need to get out on the water. Today the wind is fierce, but it looks like a 10 day window of good weather starts Saturday. Let's hope that brings in some consistency to what so far has been a very inconsistent spring. Yellowtail below the Coronado Island bit almost wide open last Sunday, then Monday even with nice weather the fish didn't want to bite again. The yellowtail are there, they are feeding on heavy concentrations of krill, and are reluctant to bite on a consistent basis. Same thing for La Jolla, fish bite for a few days then not. Catalina seabass and yellowtail are the same. Bite for a day or two then not. The good news is the fish are here, and it is just a matter of time before we can all hit the right day. Of course, the more time we spend on the water, the better our chance.

This is a great weekend to tune into Let's Talk Hook-up. This Saturday, you'll want to be with us for the live broadcast at the 20Th and last Aftco Parking Lot Sale. This is the last one, and they have promised to make it huge. The live broadcast is from 7am to 9am, and the sale starts at 9am. Greg Stotesbury from Aftco said on Let's Talk Hook-up last Sunday that if you get in line early and watch the radio show, there will be lots of giveaways for the people in line and plenty of surprises. Take the 405 freeway to Jamboree exit in Irvine, go east and follow the signs, and Pete and Rick will see you there!
