Lake Hemet Fish Report

Hemet Lake Staff

4/3/10 - Matthew and Owen Matsumoto, Orange City residents, each limited out using powerbait near one of the inlets. All fish were between .25 and 1 lb.

4/16/10 - Gabe and Jake Fisher, young brothers from Poway fishing with their dad, puleed in 7 trout between them on the southside of the lake near the dam. The boys were using rooster tails, superdupers, and powerbait.

4/16/10 - Nat Goralski, Hemet resident, was trolling the shoreline using rapala lures when he pulled in his limit for the day.

4/17/10 - Thomas Odonirk, Riverside, and his 4 friends each limited out using powerbait. Their catches all weighed between 1 to 2 lbs.

4/18/10 - Meilina Amaral, 9 year old girl from Menifee, was fishing with her dad and two brothers. Meilina skunked all of them and took home a 2 lb trout using Zeke's gold. Go Meilina!

4/18/10 - Ryan Smith, Desert Hot Springs, was fishing on the south side of the lake using 2 different spoon lures. He took home 2 trout, one weighing 3 lbs.

Date/Info: 4/3/10-Drake Rasmussen, 8 years old, from Orange County, caught a 3.5 lb. bass off the peninsula using nightcrawlers. Date/Info: 4/6-Nicolas Martinez, desert resident, pulled in one 1.5 lb. trout shore fishing using powerbait. Date/Info: 4/6-Richard Hinejos, San Jacinto was fishing by the dam using nightcrawlers. He took home a 2 lb trout for dinner. Date/Info: 4/6-Tom and Kaitlyn Wilkens and Laura Jones of Moorpark, were fishing the south shore with Kastmasters and took home 12 nice trout. Date/Info 3/29: Jim and Davies Jemison, Lake Elsinore, were trolling with rapalas down by the dam. She took home 3 nice sized trout. Date/Info 3/29: David Schaffer, Murietta, was shore fishing on the south shore using orange sparkle powerbait. Pulled in a 1.5 & 2 lb trout.
