El Budster Fishing Report
4-8-2010

There has been some improvement in the fishing. On the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Jeff Schraner from San Diego, CA catches a 25 lb. DORADO. His party hooks one STRIPED MARLIN that gets off after about five minutes. They also have another marlin strike one of the trolling lures. Salvador O Campo reported that a number of Captains said there was less SQUID in the water. They fished 14 - 18 miles out of Cabo. The water temp. was a bit warmer at 77 - 78 degrees.

4-7-2010Another day with out any fish for the World Famous EL BUDSTER.They do have a STRIPED MARLIN on for a short time, but it gets off. The good news is that there is a lot less SQUID in the water. Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. The Robert Wagner party from Schenectady, NY catches and releases a 135 lb. STRIPED MARLIN. It was caught on a live Pacific Mackerel. The fighting time was 35 - 40 minutes. Fishing on the EL BUDSTER II. Dan DeMichele catches and releases a 30 lb. HAMMERHEAD SHARK. Both the fish were caught about 18 miles out of Cabo.
