Red Rooster III Update 2/10/06

Good evening folks. We ended up leaving the beach area last night after a very frustrating day. Any decent size fish we did see would not bite. The water was quite a bit cooler and green. We hammered the porpoise schools until dark and then left for the Bank. We will be there tomorrow at lunch time. We will report again on our progress.

Good morning folks. We caught a great load of mackerel yesterday and then spent the afternoon around the banks west of Cabo. We did see signs of fish. They sure did not bite. Although we did catch one 100 pound tuna in the afternoon. One long drift after dark and we came up empty on the squid. Today we are going to be up were the American Angler finished off last trip. Good morning folks. So far the weather has been great. We are looking forward to fishing bait tonight and then being in the Mag bay area the next day. Hopefully we can get a couple of boxes of mackerel and then spend time drifting for squid before the night is over. We are just going day by day here right now.
