El Budster Fishing Report

At least April starts off with a fish being caught. Fishing on the World Famous EL BUDSTER. Robert Wagner from Schenectady, NY catches and releases a 40 lb. MAKO SHARK. There is still a great deal of SQUID in the water. Not many boats caught fish today. There were a few STRIPED MARLIN & DORADO. There were a few SIERRA MACKEREL caught in close. Their stomachs were filled with SQUID. The shark was caught about 17 miles out of Cabo. The water temp. was 74 - 76 degrees.

3-31-2010Another very slow day for the World Famous EL BUDSTER. They are not alone. Almost no charter boats catch any fish today in Cabo. There are still massive amounts of SQUID in the water. They find the Dolphin about 12 - 14 miles out. They see a lot of YELLOWFIN TUNA. But catch nothing. The same holds true with the STRIPED MARLIN. The SQUID is also in the Cabo Harbor. The World Famous EL BUDSTER goes out in search of the YELLOWFIN TUNA. They find the school of tuna. But can not catch any. They try lures, plugs & live bait. Nothing works. They tuna are swimming with the Dolphin. But will not hit ANYTHING. It is the same story for just about all of the other boats. They also see some STRIPED MARLIN. But it is the same story.
