FEBRUARY TROUT PLANTS
The following lakes, reservoirs and ponds, listed by county, will be restocked in February with catchable-size trout from Department of Fish and Game hatcheries:

Feb. 1-5:

SONOMA--Lake Ralphine
Feb. 15-19:
ALAMEDA--Shadow Cliffs Reservoir
CONTRA COSTA--Los Vaqueros Reservoir
SANTA CRUZ--Lake Pinto
Feb. 22-26:
ALAMEDA--Horse Shoe Lake
ALAMEDA--Lakeshore Park Pond
ALAMEDA--Shadow Cliffs Reservoir
CONTRA COSTA--Contra Loma Reservoir
CONTRA COSTA--Hidden Valley Lake
SANTA CLARA--Cunningham Lake

Specific dates are not given so that fishing activity will not be focused right after the time of the plant. Occasionally, operational problems may cause alteration of the schedule. Hello Anglers, We arrived at the lower banks at 0430 and were greeted with 25 kts. of wind and 10-14 foot swells. NOT NICE! We did manage to get the anchor to hang and catch a few tuna from 100-170 pounds. The weather forecast is calling for this wind to back off by tomorrow night, lets hope that they are correct.
