We started out at 8:00 a.m from Whiskeytown creek. It took us 5 minutes to find our first finish, it was a 14" Brook trout. I knew we were in the right place. I ran a Sep's 4/0 in Starlite, watermelon, Chrt. and Pink butt with a 10-12" leader to a kokanee kandy. The fish are in the 40' to 60' range. We had our limit of 10 fish by 11:00 a.m. The fish are in the 13"-15" range. It is going to be a big year on Whiskeytown. These fish are FAT!!! Check out the pictures on our web.
