No Bites

We woke up this morning to yet again flat calm weather and our anglers who were  even more excited than before. Today we focused on rigging everyone up for every scenario on a trip like this. Lots of heavy line and wire leaders in hopes for big tuna and wahoo. During our travels we witnessed our best friend Mr. Bluefin doing what they do best. Give an impressive showing blowing out on flying fish and anchovies but reluctant to bite anything with a hook on it.

That being said we left our machines running just in case for a school either at night or for a couple of notes to add to the notepad. We also did this just in case we need to come back up and mess around with these around the end of the trip. Right as dark came around we found two very impressive schools that we gave a quick attempt but once again gave us the slip. Anyhow tomorrow we’ll be fishing along the ridge hopefully catching a few quality tuna and wahoo to get everyone’s blood moving. We’ll keep you updated tomorrow!

Enjoy today’s featured photo which is one of the couple schools we saw in the dark on the sonar.
