Good Afternoon,

Happy Labor Day! Searcher returned to Fisherman's Landing Monday morning from trip 34-25, our Labor Day Special, 3-Day, Friday, August 29 to, Monday, September 1, 2025. Last Friday, we arrived on the tuna grounds around 10pm and after a very slow start we were able to pick very steadily all day, from the early morning hours into the night. After a nice catch of bluefin, we went into the shallow water to try for yellowtail. We managed to catch a couple incredible grade yellowtail and later in the day, we left and tried for more tuna. Although we saw plenty of fish out Sunday afternoon, we only managed a handful of bites.

We returned home this Monday morning and drove back out on trip 35-25, 2-Day Offshore, September 1 - 3, 2025. The weather is looking good, and we'll see what this trip has in store.
