GREAT FISHING TODAY!!! QUEEN OF HEARTS took 11 anglers on Rockcod trip catching 59 Assorted Rcokfish, 7 Lingcod(up to 10 lbs), 1 25lb Halibut and a 5lb Cabezon. They're still fishing till end of November. Oil spill didn't affect them at all. They're fishing 35 miles South of Golden Gate Bridge. 11-15-2007There hasn't been much to report about recently. Fishing has definitely been tough below Pigeon Point, sometimes to the point where we wonder if we should continue or not. There have been few days with limits, the lingcod haven't been real abundant. Capt. Bob is back in San Diego for the final week of PFMC meetings for 2007, so the next day the Queen of Hearts will be running will be when he returns this Saturday. Which brings me to my next soapbox moment: There is an outrageous misconception about these meetings that I have to set straight: Bob receives no money whatsoever for the time he takes off to go to all the meetings he goes to.
